Graff Art is Tuesdays 5 – 7pm funded by the Office of Crime Prevention with local urban artist Brody Rahaley and a free sausage sizzle. Come and give it a go!
DJing / MCing Wednesdays from 5pm - 7pm for the month of February. Funded by the City of Swan What Say Youth Grants.
Freestyle Masters of Hip Hop
Come down Wednesday nights 5pm - 7pm in March for a taste of the 4 elements of the Hip Hop Scene... Breakin, DJing, MCing and Graf Art please call 92743488 to register your interest
Street Doctor
A service provided by Perth Primary Care Network. For everything that you could possibly need from your doctor they are at Swan City Youth Service on Wednesdays 12:30pm - 3pm
Outreach Polytechnic West (TAFE) Project
Where you can come and get your Certificate in General Education for Adults (Yr 10 / 11 equivalents) and participate in GATE (Gaining Access to Training and Employment) Program. The only requirements are that you come Tuesday - Friday are turning 16yrs old or under 25yrs of age
Martial Arts Training
Come down on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday 4pm and talk to Tony about your training needs or learning self defense and boxing
Alcohol and Other Drugs Program
This program is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing and provides young people with counselling, referrals, court support, support from youth workers and any other assistance they may need.
"A Better Way" - Urban Art Project
Funded by the Department of Training and Workforce Development this program will operate 3 days a week for 18 - 25yr olds. Participants will work with some of Perth's top artists on community murals, personal art works, design and techniques, put their own portfolio together and gain skills for further education, training or employment. (Starts beginning of May)
"Amped" - Guitar and Drum Kit Lessons / DJ'ing and Producing
16 - 25yr olds can now receive free guitar and drum kit lessons combined with electronic DJing and Producing workshops Wednesdays 5pm-7pm. Come have some fun, learn how to jam to your favourite tunes and record some of your own. Funded by the Department of Training and Workforce Development. (Starts in April)
