Our goal on the night is to raise awareness about the Swan City Youth Service. Swan City Youth Service is a safe place for the young people of Midland and surrounds to go when they need help. Not everyone is blessed with good parents and a loving home. The SCYS is there to catch young people when they fall, and to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma. There are no waitlists and no young person is ever turned away.
The SCYS is independently funded and, for almost 40 years, has relied on fundraisers like this one, and the generosity of good people to operate.
